About Me & My Family

We are a French family who has been living in the US for 15 years. We spend all our summers in France, visiting our family as well as other European countries. I write travel books and I am having lots of fun doing that. So far I published two: 'Your Guide to Visit Paris for Free' and 'Your Guide to Visit San Francisco for Free', both available on

Australia. It just felt perfect and we got to see Ayers Rock: a dream come true.
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Thais having a very smelly bowel movement in her diaper while listening to our guide at the Sydnedy Opera House and throwing up right after that on the beautiful Sydney Opera Floor (she was 4 months old)

"Very charming kid place"
We have not been many times to the Bay Area Discovery Museum but every time we did, my children always had a great time. There have often special performances going on. The indoors exhibitions are really interesting and the indoors ones will keep your children busy for a long time while you relax, admiring the view. They are free every December 26th so that is a good moment to check them out,.

"Their exhibitions are always interesting"
We really like this museum. I love the downtown location and easy access via public transportation. They have nice exhibitions all the time and there is a nice turnaround. The exhibitions and galleries are small and therefore not overwhelming. I can not remember my children complaining about anything they have seen there. Once, they had an exhibition on Jewish plates and I thought that would be a turn off for my children. They actually loved it. Less is more and I think they always get it right. We loved the Maurice Sendak, Chagall, Andy Warhol exhibitions. Their latest is Curious George saves the Day. Well worth seeing. The CJM team has created a suitcase full of activities to get the children interested in the exhibition and it proves to be a success. My children had a great time exploring the exhibition using the tools provided to them and ended up strolling it on their own, giving me some time to do the same.
