Kite Festivals in the US from March to December 2011

Kite festivals are wonderful ways to spend a very relaxed day with the kids. Children can make their own kite or you can buy one, and professional will be on hand to show you how to make it fly. The sky will be filled with small kites and giant kites, a feast of colors in the clouds!
Festivals are free (only the Berkeley Kite Festival is $10 per person).

"Very pleasant"
We happened to be in San Francisco when they had the kite festival. It was lovely to see all the kites flying in the air. The background with the bay and the golden gate bridge can not beat!.
We did not participate in any activities and just had a nice time looking at the sky. I does not take much to be entertained.
