Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Thais having a very smelly bowel movement in her diaper while listening to our guide at the Sydnedy Opera House and throwing up right after that on the beautiful Sydney Opera Floor (she was 4 months old)

Kid-friendly Museum Exhibits in 2010 - Dallas

Several museums in Dallas are hosting wonderful exhibitions that the whole family will enjoy visiting. The exhibitions are quite diverse ranging from learning about Kiwis (the animal, not the fruit) to the wonderful world of Peter Rabbit and his friends.

PETER RABBIT'S™ Flower Village T ill July 31st,2010. 4 Beatrix Potter stories are brought to life in the garden and children will be able to explore the homes of Peter Rabbit, Mrs. Tiggy Winkle, Mrs Tittlemouse and Jemima Puddletuck and will find inside all the components from the stories. Do not forget to bring the books for some reading fun in the gardens!

Bodies Till August 29th, 2010. In this exhibition, families will learn anatomy by observing preserved real human bodies. No textbook can give you the same experience. Ideal for the future little doctor or surgeon. Check their website for the 4 age-specific teacher guides (Elementary to post-graduate level) and to make sure that your children will be fine exploring the exhibition. There is a special audio tour for children.

Charlie and Kiwi’s Evolutionary Adventure Coming May 28, 2011 till September 5, 2011. Follow Charlie as he discovers kiwis, the New Zealand bird that can not fly. Travel with Charlie back to the age of dinosaurs to discover how kiwis evolved.

Through the Eyes of Our Children—Something Beautiful May 14–August 29, 2010 Come admire photographs from fellow kids who became photographers via the Point of View Program. They are 4th graders and your children will hopefully become inspired to point and shoot their own shots after visiting the exhibition.
