Thais having a very smelly bowel movement in her diaper while listening to our guide at the Sydnedy Opera House and throwing up right after that on the beautiful Sydney Opera Floor (she was 4 months old)

This is pure Christmas Magic, assorted with a close to a million lights. And it is happening the first three week-ends of December. St Nicholas arrives on Friday evening by carriage. On Saturday at noon, he will be joined by Santa Claus and Father Christmas. The week-end will be full of celebrations, lights and food (roasted chestnuts, gingerbread and traditional holiday goodies). Families will also enjoy sleigh rides, tubing, live performances, a Living Nativity set, enough to fill up your whole week-end with fun and warmth.

Staying at one of the Madonna Inn's room is already a treat by itself. For Christmas, the dining room of the restaurant is filled with hundreds of Christmas decorations and a majestic Christmas tree. We celebrated our Christmas there years ago and Pink was the word. My children are still talking about it.

"My kids still talk about it"
Staying at this hotel was a surprise for my husband's birthday. We stayed in the Safari Room, that has a Waterfall shower. The room was really big and very kitshy (but that's why you go there). My children are still talking about the room and are dreaming of going back and try the Pony Room. The swimming pool with the waterfalls and view of the valley is soothing. We had dinner at the restaurant. It was Christmas and the whole place was darling. The food was average and expensive though. I will definitely go back there one day (but will skip the dining experience)

The whole Park will be transformed into Christmas wonderland with Mickey and Minnie leading the fun. The park will be open till Midnight for the holidays and a good time will be have by all. If you are in Florida, do not miss the Magic Kingdom, it will be Christmas paradise over there too.

"Love it but can be expensive"
It is clean, it is fun, everything is well organized and cheerful. We went there a couple of times and we always had a nice time, children and adults alike.I am not going to repeat what other said, just that I went once at Christmas time and it was tastefully decorated. The Haunted Mansion had become the Nightmare before Christmas mansion and got my daughter screaming, she was so afraid. But as she stepped out of the ride, she wanted to go back again!
I just took a star off because of the pricing, it is quite a budget to eat there and stay at the hotels (we ended up staying at a non-disney hotel). And do not get me started on the souvenirs.
My tip: call them to ask them when are the least crowded day. We did that when we went there for Thanksgiving break and we avoided the crowd by following the customer service person advice.

Get your tickets right now for the North Pole Experience. The doors of Santa’s workshop will open on November 26 and will close on January 2. After having dinner at the Lodge, families will take the Candy Cane trolley and pass through a magic portal and reach the North Pole where true Holiday Magic will be waiting for them. Families will visit Santa's Toy Hall of Fame, build toys, eat cookies and milk with Mrs Claus in her bakery, and attend Elf University. Back at the Lodge, it will be time for crafts activities and story telling by the fireplace.

Do not miss Graceland Christmas Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Graceland Plaza. There will be hundred of blue lights as well as life-size nativity scene. Santa Claus will also be part of the event. There will be plenty of photos opportunities! Lee DeWyze, the winner of the 9th season of American Idol will be the master of ceremony this year.
Starting this day and continuing till January 9th, 2011, Graceland Tour will be very special with the inside of the home and exterior grounds decorated for Christmas. They are the same decorations and display that the King picked and enjoyed with his family at Christmas time.

Share the holidays spirit and fun in Louisiana. Lots of fun events are happening like the snow fest (if you are not afraid to tube down 100 feet), the parade of lighted barges on the Lake, holiday tour of homes and on December 4th, the Annual Christmas festival with the lighting of 300,000 bulbs and daylong celebrations. The capitol Christmas Tree will make its only major stop in Dahlonega on its way to the White House on November 24-26. Be there as the 75 foot tree, coming from Wyoming will arriveon November 24th at the Historic Square. It will kick a 3 days celebration with live music and holiday performances. A banner will be available to sign and will join the tree in its journey to the White House.

The National Tree Lighting ceremony will happen on December 9th. Tickets for the ceremony will be drawn by a lottery. Enter the lottery between November 5th and November 7th by clicking on http://www.thenationaltree.org/. You need tickets to attend the ceremony but you are free to visit after it is lit anytime till January 1st. There is plenty to see on the Ellipse: Santa Workshop, the National Christmas Tree Railroad, the Nativity Scene and the Yule Log.

"Iconic"
In a way, we liked it more than Times Square because we felt it was really New York compared to touristy Times Square. We went there to go to the Top of the Rock and we had a nice time looking at people ice-skating and visiting some stores around the square.
