Best Easter Egg Hunts in California - 2012

To enjoy a drama-free Easter Egg Hunt with smaller children, go to an Egg Hunt where the children will be divided by age. If this is not possible, just make sure that you keep your toddler away from the bigger kids who can sometimes be pushy in their quest for the eggs.
If you have children older than 10, chances are that they will be barred from most Easter Egg Hunts.
And do not forget to bring your own basket!

The easter egg hunt will take place on April 7th. It runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Campanile lawns and are separated in 3 categories: 0-2, 3-5 and 6+. The event is free but consider a donation as this is a fundraising for underprivileged children. www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~eggster/

"Pleasant"
Berkeley University is very different from Stanford University, less charming. But it is definitely worth a visit. Go up the Campanile Tower on a beautiful day and you will have a wonderful view of the San Francisco Bay. And do not miss CAL Day, the university, its classes, museums etc are open for all. It happens in April every year.

You will take the train to Bear Mountain to hunt for thousands of chocolate eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny. You will need to buy a train ticket in order to get to the redwoods. That event will take place on April 7 and 8. You need to go to their website to check the times and fares. Book in advance. http://www.roaringcamp.com/events.html
