Anytime throw up is involved. Especially when one kid triggers another. And when we are in the car. And when they choose to use the box that is holding all their library books and toys.

Buena Vista Street-Disney CA Adventure: All new!

Coming June 15, 2012 is the grand re-opening of Disney California Adventure.  Guests will enter the park and be transported to the 1920's on Buena Vista Street, and to the California that Walt Disney found when he first started making movies with Mickey Mouse.  Check out these new restaurants and attractions.  Be one of the first to write a review to tell other Trekaroo readers about this amazing new section of Disney California Adventure.

5 boys in their old jalopy on their way to Hollywood team up with a girl named "Dime" and sing their way to stardom with her Ella Fitzgerald singing voice. Fun and interactive versions of 20's and 30's songs performed.

Elegant but comfortable dining found in the upstairs restaurant with a seasonal menu featuring farm-fresh fare and sustainable fish. The downstairs lounge and bar serves appetizers, light lunches, classic cocktails, and CA craft beers with an extensive wine list.

Enjoy hand-scooped Dreyer's ice cream or chocolate dipped ice cream cones.

"Good 'scream, skimpy portion"
The hand-scooped ice cream from Clarabelle's was quite delicious on the grand re-opening day of California Adventure, but I was disappointed by how much I got.  For one scoop, priced around $3.00, it barely filled my small cone, with nothing stuffed down inside, nor huge mounds heaped on top or dripping down the side.  I don't mind some drips now and then when it means a generous portion of ice cream.  The soft-serve cones at Paradise Pier offer a much larger amount.

My son was given his ice cream in a cup instead of a cone on accident, and they placed it onto the cone and it was a much larger amount of ice cream than I got.... so go for the cup!

All in all it was a pleasant experience with short lines in the afternoon and quick service.
