I am a work-from-home-mom married to a work-outside-home-dad. We have 3 boys: 3, 4, and 12. We live in NYC and love it. I love to travel, and I write about our findings and adventures on my travel and lifestyle blog.
And because of our kids we find that our travels aren't always to exotic places, but in this adventurous family we believe that "it's not always about the destination, but about the journey". And man, are our journeys fun..and the destinations so far...not too shabby either : )

"The Scholastic Store in Soho"
This is book heaven for my kids 3-11. It is a colorful, happy, active fun bookstore located in SOHO, where every Saturday they host an event for the whole family, whether it be reading time to visits from Clifford The Big Red Dog and other book favorites.The also host birthdays parties! You pick the theme and the budget that works best for you and they do the rest. The staff is awesome with the kids and they have everything, both in English and Spanish, to encourage the love for reading and learning. I love this store.
