Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Being in a vacation rental with all of our extended family for the holidays. 13 people in all. Was supposed to be a wonderful week of fun, but 10 out of 13 got struck with the stomach virus for a week straight. The lowlights can be summed up in: 4 trips to the ER, 2 IVs for our one year old nephew and a concussion from freeze tag for my brother in-law. What a start to the new year!

A less crowded version of the autumn Berkshire leaves can be found here. There's an easy hike to Tannery Falls for the kids to find lots of leaves to bring home.

3 hours west of Boston, Greylock displays the Berkshire autumn colors at it's best. Lots to do for the whole family.

One of New Hampshire's most famous drives is the Kancamagus Highway. If your kids prefer to ride on a train, be sure to check out Conway's fall foliage ride through Mt. Washington Valley.
