10 best Chocolate Factory Tours

It feels just right to have a special list for chocolate factory.  Children love chocolate and that would be a special treat for them to get a pick and see how one of their favorite treat goes from a simple bean to a bar.
As a reminder:
- check out if there is a minimum age requirement for children
- make reservations if necessary
- if your child suffers from allergy to nuts, a quick phone call to the factory is necessary just to be on the safe side.
- Be aware that the machinery may not be operating if you tour during the week-end

Visit the only chocolate factory in San Francisco. It is a perfect outing after a morning at Alcatraz for example.

"You will learn a lot"
I could not believe how much I did not know about something I like so much. The tour is very informative and there are here to teach you about chocolate, where it comes and how to appreciate it. The tour of the machinery/factory does not last too long, less than 10 minutes. The rest of the time you taste samples, compare them, and see a lot of samples of chocolate beans, nibs, and whatever they put to make a chocolate bar. Parking is not that easy. They have a bar where you can taste chocolate samples and order drinks. The store sells all their products and remind me never to leave my husband alone in the store! A  must visit!

Located 20 minutes away from Las Vegas, a visit to Ethel's chocolate factory is a fun and delicious to keep busy outside of the Strip.

After you dress up the part with hairnets and blue covers for your open-toed shoes, you will definitely enjoy picking in the chocolate factory. During the Spring and Fall fundraising Grand Prize, children can learn how to become a Wolfgang chocolatier so if you are local, inquire with them.

One does not think of visiting a chocolate factory when planning a tour in New York but that can be a nice escape from the city for a insight in the world of handcraft chocolate.

They have been making chocolates since almost a century so they know a thing or two about the trade. The company was started by two women and you will get to know more about them during the 20 minutes tour as well as seeing our their vision developed in a wonderful chocolate factory.

There is more to Florida than beaches and amusement parks. Enjoy seeing the process of making chocolate. Nice treat: you will even get to create our own chocolate bar. Eat it fast before it melts under that warm Florida sun.
