This is a rustic mountain resort, set nestled in the pines and oaks  less than a 45 minute drive from Yosemite National Park. The hostel offers private rooms, family cabins, tent cabins, and even a private house set on a creek in addition to the usual dorms found in a Hostel. They are right on the bus route to Yosemite, and even offer tours from the bay area. There is a relaxed, social feeling throughout the grounds. The lodge/cafe has a huge fireplace, numerous games, books and even a few musical instruments to use while enjoying your down time after a day in Yosemite.
