The Westin Villas are the place to stay in Maui. What can I say? The rooms are immaculate and spacious, with in-room washer/dryers, a kitchen, and bathrooms large enough to double as a spare room for the baby. Despite catering to families, the property oozes calm and peace.
The one downer is the lack of restaurants. The food (especially lunch options) are ho-hum. But, each room has a full kitchen, so you really can't complain. We stock up at the Safeway en-route to Kaanapali, so whipping up simple sandwiches is a breeze.
We rented a two-bedroom, two-bath condo for a week and were very pleased. The rooms were large, clean and furnished nicely. The pools were family friendly, especially the shallow pool for infants/toddlers and the pirate ship pool for the older kids. It was also nice to be so close to the beach. The only downside is that food is very expensive, so be sure to stock up on groceries at the local market (only 5 minutes away).
This is a very nice clean condo/hotel. the staff was pleasent but they didn't go out of their way. the beach was beautiful. The kids loved the pool and and the beach. However the waterslide at the pool was not working during our stay that was a bummer for my 7 year old.
