"Very Tres Chic!"
My oldest daughter and I loved this hotel! Very sleek and modern. Loved the decor and the clean lines. The lobby was just beautiful. And we also loved the secure feeling that we had here. You take a separate elevator to the actual rooms. Not sure if this is standard or not but not just anybody can get to the rooms. Loved that! The views are beautiful. We were looking right out over Times Square at M&M's World. If your looking for the place in the middle of it all, this is it!

"Love It!!!"
What can I say about this hotel other than that it was absolutely breathtaking! I own a timeshare with Sheraton (which W is a branch of) and I try to go to all the hotels I can through it. This was one of the top ones that I have ever been lucky enough to stay at with my family. I must agree with the other reviewer; the staff gets uptight about kids in the so-called "bar" area. The rooms were very nice and looked brand new, and I personally loved the entire design of the hotel!

"Bring Yo' Swagger"
This is not a kid friendly hotel. But bring your kids here, and I guarantee you will be the hippist parents in your playgroup.
My 2 year old daughter was (wait for it.....) kicked out of the lounge because she was under 21. Too bad for us- the lounge also happens to be the check-in/reception area and the elevator lobby.
I think the bartender was jealous of her Juicy baby bling.
The room itself was clean, modern, comfy. Totally unchildproof. The bathroom doors have no locks and the walls are made of glass.
Whoever designed this hotel had baby making on the mind, but not the babies themselves. But this is a W, so we expected this. It was totally fun, and all of us loved it. If your kids are well-behaved and can mingle at a partaaaay, this could be an awesome jumping off point. But be warned that the scene is 24/7 and Times Square can be totally nuts.
