"awesome vacation rental close to Tahoe"
This vacation rental is located in Philips which is a 15 min drive away from Tahoe. It is a 10 min drive to the Sierra Ski Resort. There is a nice sledding area on the way to the Ski Resort.

The house is very new and modern, but cozy. It has two bedrooms, one livingroom with a well equipped kitchenette, a loft and two bathrooms. The loft and the livingroom are very light. There is a gas fireplace and a huge outside area.
It is a very quiet place with a lot of snow in winter. It is in the forest, Phililps is only very small. The next grocery store is a ten minutes drive away.

The home, which is at 6700 feet elevation, is conveniently located off Highway 50 close to the entrance to Sierra at Tahoe Snowsport Resort in Phillips, CA. South Lake Tahoe is a short 12 miles east and we're about 85 miles from Sacramento.
