"Fantastic location, great price for the area"
We recently stayed at the Windsor Suites and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The hotel was clean, staff was attentive, and room requests were delivered very promptly.
Location was perfect. Just a short walk to the Franklin Institute and Academy. don't miss the Franklin playground too. Perfect for little kids. We had a fun dip in the pool on the roofdeck which was a fun for everyone. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the view and junior loved the water.
We also liked having a full-use kitchen. Made traveling with kids a lot easier. We had cereal and eggs in the morning, packed sandwiches for lunch at the museums and usually ate dinner out at a restaurant nearby. They've got dishware, pots, utensils and a dishwasher. Perfect.

"Great value for families"
The Windsor Suites is great for families. During our visit, everyone we met in the elevator and the lobby had kids.
Location:
- Museum Row or Logan Circle is the ideal spot for visiting families to stay. It's an easy walk to some of the top kid spots like the Franklin Institute and The Academy of Natural Science.
- Lots of great restaurants and shopping venues within walking radius.
- Easy access to public transportation like the PHLASH which can get you to Independence Hall / Franklin Square, PMA, and Fairmont Park quickly.
Accommodations:
- The one bedroom suites are spacious and have either a king or two doubles in the main bedroom. Pull-out sofas/rollaways are great for accommodating bigger families who need more bed.
- Bathrooms are newly renovated with pristine tiles and stainless steel fixtures. A few of the bathrooms only have showers, so if you need a tub for baby, be sure to let someone know.
- Fully equipped kitchens are great for cooking meals, heating up leftovers and enjoying a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. Fridge, stove, microwave and my favorite a dishwasher!
- Elevators are slow and fairly busy in the morning.
- Parking is $31/night. Pricey and not necessary for this city. You can get to all the hot spots in town via public transportation.
Family-friendly amenities
- Heated outdoor rooftop pool with gorgeous view of downtown Philly. The pool was barely heated the day we were there. Good for toe-dipping, but not for jumping in. Pool ranges in depth from 3ft-6ft and no lifeguards, so keep watch on your little swimmers
- Coin-operated washer/dryers on multiple floors
- Cribs are available upon request (complimentary)
- Since the new in-house restaurant, ConMurphy's opened, there's no more complimentary breakfast. However, they have a large breakfast menu to enjoy.
Value:
- Starting at a $104/night for a one-bedroom, this is one of the two best deals you'll get for a one bedroom in this prime tourist hotspot.

Location. The cylindrical tower of the Windsor Suites overlooks a bustling street corner in beautiful downtown Philadelphia, Pa. The hotel is central to Philadelphia's downtown attractions and business centers, within six blocks of City Hall, the Convention Center and Liberty Place. Philadelphia International Airport is eight miles away, and the hotel is less than one mile from the 30th Street Railway Station.
Hotel Features. Twenty four stories tall, the Windsor Suites offers apartment style accommodations and is also home to private residents. The hotel provides a range of services and amenities, including a 24 hour fitness facility, a seasonal rooftop pool and a sundeck. Discounts are also offered to a local health club, seven blocks from the hotel. This hotel also offers event catering and business services. The Guest Amenities Center provides snack and beverage vending, ATM, and complimentary computer and internet access. Laundry facilities are on site. Open for lunch and dinner, the two hotel restaurants offer distinctly styled dining. Asia on the Parkway offers authentic Asian cuisine, while Peacock on the Parkway is a popular, Mediterranean influenced venue. Room service is available.
Guestrooms. The Windsor Suites' spacious suites include fully equipped kitchens and large walk in closets. The work area offers oversized desks and executive chairs. High speed Internet and laptop sized safes are provided in all rooms. Select rooms feature balconies. With its appealing suites, thoughtful amenities, high services and prime location, the Windsor Suites offers a prime location in downtown and spacious, apartment style accommodations.
Expert Tip. Less than three miles from this hotel is the Philadelphia Zoo, the first zoo in the United States. One unique, interactive exhibit, called the Treehouse, allows visitors to experience everything from hatching from an egg to riding on a caterpillar.
