Last year we stayed at the Westin with a 9 month old and 5yr old. They provided us with a nice crib for our son and the couch was a great bed for our daughter. And our bed was VERY plush and comfortable. The hotel had a pool and was a quick walk to a nice mall and the monorail to get to the Seattle Center. Highly recommend!
We stayed here after our wedding, the night before we left for our honeymoon and have been going back ever since. The bed is so Heavenly that we purchased one! Thanks to the other reviews now I know how kid friendly it is and I think we will take them there for New Years every year!!!
First, the location of the Westin cannot be beat. Right on the edge of Belltown and Downtown, next to the Monorail, and within easy walking distance of Pike Place.
I would recommend a room in the North Tower because of the fantastic view. The space needle right in your window - wow. The beds are really comfy. The other parts of the hotel were to be expected.
Our son really loved getting his own Westin Kids Club bag on check-in. (apparently Infants get their own infant amenity kit that includes items to help childproof you room and emergency care items). We also were delighted to find out that upon request, bottle warmers, high chairs, booster seats, potty seats, step stools and jogging strollers are available. The wooden cribs was super comfortable.
Concierge was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and welcoming. Oh and the indoor pool! It was so nice to soak after a cold wet day in the whirlpool.
Parking - $36?!! Glad we didn't drive.
When I am ready to go to the city for a weekend with my family my first choice is the Westin Hotel downtown. Right in the heart of the city near great shopping and restaurants. They have a nice indoor pool and spa area (little cold when we were there last). Very close to the Westlake Center which is a lot of fun. If you ever come for New Years get one of the top floor rooms and you have an EXCELLENT view of the space needle. A night you will never forget! Ooooh..I almost forgot take a night out with your significant other and use Annie's Nannie's. Great sitting service!
