It's across the street from a lot of good shopping (Kierland Commons) and many different nearby restaurants to choose from. The resort does have room service and a few different dining options and bars including room service but we preferred to run across the street and grab something familiar for the kids or on certain nights they have food trucks come and you can try something new. The resort pool has a lot of great amenities like: large zero entry pool and beach, lazy river, water slide, hot tub, small splash pad, Cabanas available for rent, and lots of lounge chairs (if you arrive at the pool early) and The Flow Rider (we felt like the Flow Rider price is $$). Throughout the day there is an entertainment committee that rounds the kids up for different games and contests (ex cannon ball contest). They provide pitchers of ice water and you can order food and drinks poolside. There is also a separate adult only pool. The kids favorite activity is the scavenger hunt. The kids pick up a lanyard with a book attached. Each page in the book is a place they have to visit or activity they can do. The kids get stamps in their books for each thing they do. At the end of your stay turn the book in and the kids get a pin for each things they did while there. If you are staying on a Friday night don't miss out on the S'mores! Did you know there's more than one way to make a S'more? The rooms have always been clean and fresh. Black out curtains, mini fridge, large tub and separate shower, A/C works great! We always get a room with 2 queen beds and request a crib for the younger one (or bring a pack n play). There's enough room to have the crib up on the side without being in the way too much. The resort also has golfing and a spa but we haven't tried either out yet. A great resort for families with lots to do for the weekend and close shopping!
