"Quaint & Charming"
Laguna Beach is a hidden treasure and a great place for a family escape. It is not overly crowded nor does it have the party animals.
The Tides is a very small property with about 20 units all with kitchenettes. Large enough to give you the feeling that you are in a retro type vacation spot.
This property is pet friendly and totally kid friendly. We loved having the ability to walk to awesome snack bars and restaurants.
As an insider tip I would suggest buying picnic snacks and storing them in your kitchenette.

The Tides Laguna Beach is located near the beach in Laguna Beach's
Laguna South Beaches neighborhood and close to Heisler Park, Main
Beach Park, and Laguna Art Museum. Nearby points of interest also
include Festival of Arts and Sawdust Art Festival Grounds.
Hotel Features.
Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool. Complimentary guest
parking is limited, and available on a first come, first served
basis. Additional property amenities include barbecue grills, a
picnic area, and coffee/tea in the lobby. This is a smoke free
property.
Guestrooms.
21 air conditioned guestrooms at The Tides Laguna Beach feature
hair dryers. All accommodations have patios. Rooms are individually
decorated. Bathrooms feature showers. Wireless Internet access is
complimentary. Guestrooms offer complimentary free local calls
(restrictions may apply). Premium cable television is provided.
Housekeeping is offered daily and guests may request irons/ironing
boards.
