"Just Okay"
I would say that this hotel pleased me, especially if I based it on what I was looking for. I wouldn't say the same for my children though. It was a very cramped hotel and even though the lobby was nice, as well as the location, the rooms just were not up to par. They were not good at all for young kids, so therefore I wouldn't recommend it to people with young children.

The Pod has roof-top patio with fabulous views of the city. It is located in a charming part of New York City where you feel like a local because it is set in a neighborhood. Close to Subway access. Hip lobby. The coolest, trendiest rooms in NYC - they are small but functional and many have bunk-beds with personal flat-screen TVs. Convenient and reasonably priced - this hotel has thought of everything and is a great option for families with tweens and teens.
Location.
Pod 51 is located in New York's Midtown East Grand Central
neighborhood, close to United Nations Headquarters, Chrysler
Building, and Grand Central Terminal. Nearby points of interest
also include Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Dining options at Pod 51 include a restaurant and a coffee
shop/café. A bar/lounge is open for drinks. Complimentary
wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Tour/ticket
assistance and tour assistance are available. Additional property
amenities include a rooftop terrace, a concierge desk, and
