these cabins are surrounded on 3 sides by the ocean. they are rustic, simple cabins, with wood stove, countertops, tables, one small room with bunk bed, and one larger room with queen size wooden platform and double size platform. 5 people / 1 car allowed. you need to bring your own air mattress/bedding. the huge windows slide open and most have amazing views of the ocean, and beaches very close by. there are some cliffs so families with young children beware. try and get the cabins that are closest to the ocean - most have great views, but some are completely unobstructed and more isolated. we did not have a good experience camping there - raccoons were going crazy, but LOVE Steep ravine cabins, and the kids love the tide pools close by. they now have proper flushing toilets so not as rustic as they once were, but still no showers! it's great for one or two nights though. :)
very hard to get into, you must book 7 months in advance, but if you are persistent, and keep calling in the morning, you can get in. you can also book online and check for cancellations.
