"Perfect Family Condos Near Jackson Hole"
STUNNING VIEWS
Delightfully situated on a high meadow, with glorious views of the snow covered mountains in all directions, Spring Creek Ranch makes an idea base of operations for families visiting Grand Teton National Park.
SPACIOUS HOME BASE, WITH HOUSEKEEPING
Our 2 bedroom “Harvest Dance” condo had full views of the Teton Mountains and valley from the living room, master bedroom, and children’s loft. The condo, which has a king master suite, queen suite, and a double twin loft with private half bath and large closet (spacious enough for a full sized air mattress), is ideal for large families of 6 or 7. It is decorated in a rustic ranch style- comfortable and casual. Decks off the living room and master bedroom are wonderful places to read in the afternoon. My daughter spent an hour watching the frisky ground squirrels and playing in the yard while I sat and watched her from the living-room. In addition to the conveniences of a condo, such as the full kitchen, living room with wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV., 6 seat dining room, and washer/drier, all the units have full daily maid service just like a hotel.
The units vary in décor and amenities, from rustic mountain condos such as ours, to luxurious contemporary ranch style villas. All units are well stocked with ProTerra bath products, and plenty of thick, luxurious towels.
EXCELLENT ON SITE RESTAURANT
The Granary, Spring Creek’s onsite restaurant, serves delicious meals in a glorious setting. Situated in a cliff top mountain farmhouse, the dining rooms command splendid views over the valley and Teton mountain ranges. You would be remiss if you did not enjoy at least one meal here. I recommend reserving a window table in advance, to fully experience the restaurant’s glory.
ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES
Spring Creek’s friendly, helpful concierge is located in the beautiful, contemporary mountain style reception villa. They will gladly recommend appropriate hikes and activities and are very knowledgeable about Grand Teton Park and surrounding areas. One their recommendation, we drove out to Antelope Flats, about 45 minutes away, and saw Bison sunning themselves close to the road.
The pool is just outside, but though heated year round, was too chilly for us to enjoy when we visited on a cool June day. No matter, because there are plenty of other activities, should you choose to spend a day at the resort.
There is a horseback riding outfitter, Spring Creek Stables, on the property that offers hour long trail rides for kids under age 8, and 2 hour or half-day rides for children aged 8+. Although we did not go on a ride, it looked like a fun family activity.
The road that winds through the resort is very quiet, and I would have felt comfortable letting my 5 year old daughter ride her bike or scooter if we had brought a two wheeled vehicle.
The Moose entrance and Grand Teton park headquarters, with a brand new field museum and visitors center, is a mere 20 minute drive along Spring Gulch Road. This drive is one of the top 10 most beautiful drives in the west; the Grand Tetons tower above bucolic pastures and farms, which, if you are driving in the evening, afford a good chance of seeing elk and moose grazing by the roadside.
The children’s programs at the park are excellent- from the Moose visitor’s center, we checked out a “naturalist backpack” for the day. It was packed with watercolors, watercolor paper, sketch books, pencils and sharpeners, a magnifying glass, and most exciting of all, plaster, water, and a mixing container for making molds of animal tracks. This is a must do for kids who are 6 and older, though the backpacks are quite heavy, and parents may end up have to carry them for small children.
Spring Creek is ideally situated a 5 minute drive from Jackson Hole and 20 minutes from to the Grand Teton NP’s Moose Entrance. The perfect location, stunning views, and family-friendly condo conveniences make Spring Creek and ideal base for a Grand Teton vacation.

Amazing views, incredible wildlife, casual but luxurious accommodations. Many family-oriented activities including horseback riding, swimming, spa, and tennis. Guest accommodation options include individual houses with in-house chefs. Great place for a family reunion any time of the year.
