"Terrible Management"
We stayed one night at the Sheraton Suites because we had a layover on our way to Puerto Rico. The hotel itself was decent. The room was fairly clean and spacious, especially for one night. The kids (ages 7 & 9) enjoyed a dip in the pool upon arrival. The location is not great if you don't have a car (which we didn't) and you want to go out to eat. The hotel has a restaurant, but it seemed pricey for what you got. Your choice is to take a cab somewhere or walk 15-20 minutes to a chain restaurant.
Our biggest complaint was with management. We had a minor medical emergency during our visit. We called the front desk for advice and it took 30-40 minutes for the manager to come check on us. He promised to get us a butterfly bandage and look into helping us get to an ER and return in just a moment. Forty-five minutes later, a young kid comes to our door with one small butterfly bandage. When we inquired about the manager, we were told that he left for the day. Needless to say, we were quite upset. Without any assistance from the hotel manager, we had to negotiate our way to an emergency room where three sutures were placed. The manager never checked up with us to see if everyone was taken care of and everything was OK. Needless to say, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
