"Family-friendly oceanfront hotel"
This is an updated, family-friendly hotel right on Wrightsville Beach. It's on the northern end where the beach is cleaner and less crowded. The rooms are all 2 room suites and have kitchens - great for families. Every room has an ocean view. There's a restaurant, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. It's a bit of a hike to the grocery store and restaurants, but, in my opinion, worth it to be on the northern end of the beach, away from the crowds and noise.

"Shell Island Oceanfront Suites"
This hotel has been recently renovated and is very nice. All rooms have been renovated and have kitchenettes. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and the beach is is not as crowded as other spots of Wrightsville Beach. We did a staycation deal and got a good rate since we live in town. Highly recommended.

Located in Wrightsville Beach, this beachfront resort is near
Wrightsville Beach. Another nearby attraction is Airlie
Gardens.
Features.
Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a
spa tub, and a fitness facility. This 3.5 star property has a
business center and offers small meeting rooms, secretarial
services, and a technology helpdesk. Complimentary wireless and
wired high speed Internet access is available in public areas. This
Wrightsville Beach property has 6000 square feet of event space
consisting of banquet facilities, conference/meeting rooms, a
ballroom, and exhibit space. Room service is available during
limited hours. Guest parking is complimentary. Business services,
wedding services, and concierge services are available. Additional
property amenities include a poolside bar, a bar/lounge, and gift
shops/newsstands. Extended parking privileges may be offered to
guests after check out (surcharge).

Guestrooms are all accessible via exterior corridors. Balconies
offer ocean views. Rooms are individually decorated and furnished.
Furnishings include desks and sofa beds. Beds come with triple
sheeting. At the 3.5 star property, accommodations include

coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms feature double sinks, complimentary
toiletries, and hair dryers. In addition to complimentary wireless
and wired high speed Internet access, guestrooms offer direct dial
phones, free local calls, and voice mail. Televisions have cable
channels and free movie channels. Air conditioned rooms also
include separate sitting areas, separate dining areas,
electronic/magnetic keys, and irons/ironing boards. Housekeeping is
