"Decent for couples, families notsomuch"
The recently updated hotel is a good fit for couples, but not the best option in the area for families. The pool is small and rather cool, there are few amenities that appeal to kids. It is within walking distance of the older downtown area of town (and a wonderful bistro coffee shop) and has a nice luau, but I wouldn't point families to this hotel, when there are other options with a wider variety of activities available.
