"Terrible for ANYONE"

When we went to Niagra Falls we flew into the Buffalo airport and since we were getting in late we decided to stay at the Rodeway Inn because it was close to the airport and they had a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We were flying in from New York where we had spent the day and we didn't have any checked bags. We called the hotel before we left JFK to verify that there would be someone to come pick us up. We told them what time our flight was supposed to get in and they told us to just call when we arrived at the airport. We did call when we got in and we went straight out to the waiting area. It was super cold outside and we hadn't dressed for the cold since it had been much warmer in NYC earlier in the day. We ended up waiting an hour for someone to come pick us up.

By this time it was after midnight and we were exhausted. When we walked into our room there were red spatters on the wall that looked strangly like blood. We wrote it off and figured it must have been something else. Upon inspecting the hotel more we realized the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks, there were corners of the carpet that weren't put down right, and then my husband found left over pizza and beer in the fridge. I freaked out a little when he found that because small children could have easy gotten into it.

When I crawled into bed there was a large red stain on the blanket that looked like blood once again. When I told my husband I didn't think I was going to be able to sleep in that bed he pulled out the hide-a-bed thinking it might be better. We ended up finding crushed chips in the sheets and decided to sleep in the actual bed.

In the morning when my husband sat down on the hide-a-bed to put his shoes on, he fell through the bottom of the bed and a huge piece of wire popped out.

The only benefit of this experience was that we got our night's stay free when we showed the hotel manager all of the problems with our hotel...but the money that we saved wasn't worth the terrible night in the hotel.
