Rocky Point Resort

"Stay Away.."

It was our 33rd anniversary, as we had only a few days to play, we decided to stay close to home & travel up to Rocky Point "Resort".  First of all, it isn't a "resort".  Its a place that has some (sub)standard RV sites and some really basic tent sites.  That's alright as we are self contained in our 5th wheel.

The new managers (hired by the Oddfellows) are as unfriendly as they can be.  You are constantly monitored and basically stalked to make sure you don't do anything they don't want you to!  Amazing.  Sue who is the worst of the couple is a horrible person to be put in charge of anything having to do with humans. She has absolutely no people skills at all.  If you just happen to drive in to the place & want to look around, maybe spend a little money in the store, she accosts you as soon as you step foot on the property!  Really??  If you wanted to walk on the docks, you can forget that! Let alone buy fuel for your boat if you happen to come in by water.  She wouldn't sell to a friend of mine when he brought his boat in for fuel.  Are you kidding me?  What kind of place is this?!

We have been coming to Rocky Point for years and have always had pleasurable times.  That is up until these new "manager" came into play.  We will NOT be goin back as long as they are there.  It just isn't worth the time or the stress to deal with such people.  Very sad as the place is one the most beautiful areas in Klamath Falls.  I just hope people avoid RP as long as they are there and also, please don't judge Klamath Falls, by two sour apples.

On the upside, Harriman Springs is renovating their area and it will be fabulous! New restaruant, RV sites & a spring that comes straight from Crater Lake.
