We stayed here the last week of April for my daughter's Spring Break. We have stayed at the Disneyland Hotels before. I had a very positive experience during our stay. If Disneyland is your main purpose for your visit, then you will love its proximity to the entrance. When you come back to your room for an afternoon nap, you will find ice cold water in the lobby along with fruit & cookies for a yummy snack. My son especially loved the train that circles over the front desk which he had the honor of controlling via remote thanks to the very nice young man working the front desk! We had arrived at 1:00 & just wanted to see if a room was ready even though check in is 3:00. They had a room for us! We chose the one with bunk beds, kids LOVED it! The room was basic & clean. They offered us a welcome basket with wine or apple cider, fruit & water. Our room was on the 2nd floor & my husband, who exercises regularly anyway, had the honor of lugging our suitcases to the 2nd floor. At night, instead of staying at the park with the crowds to watch the fireworks, we simply opened our curtains (rm 207 & along that side) They have a pool & jacuzzi which was enjoyable as well. We also enjoyed their daily complimentary breakfast (make your own waffles), & also their social hour (light dinner) esp taco night which filled me up! Its also close to other restaurants if you so choose. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit!
The Park Vue is right across the street from Disneyland. Distance wise it's an excellent location. This hotel isn't our first choice but we will stay here if our other standbys are full. There are no elevators but there are two levels. When you reserve a room they can not guarantee you will get a first floor room. Those of you with kids and strollers know this is not convenient at all. Another issue we have had here is the plugs for the tubs are often broken. It's because of this we have started carrying one of those flat rubber drain stopper (sorry, I don't know the technical name. :) ) I would stay here in a pinch though. If you have older kids who don't need strollers and can survive taking showers rather than baths this is a good choice.
This place has been around for ages. It is a standard Anaheim motel - you will get the basics, but nothing special. The rooms have been recently renovated, I understand.
