"milk and cookies made mom smile"
Arriving tired and worn after a a grueling flight with our kids, I was so comforted when we were surprised with cookies and milk for the kids, but enough for mom and dad. That won my heart over already. The service at Park Hyatt was nothing short of superb our entire stay.
I was glad that even though we arrived looking very disheveled, that the staff welcomed us as if we were royalty.
If you have an American Girl fan at home, splurge for the American Girl Package. It will send your daughter over the moon! The American Girl package included beds for the dolls to sleep in, the cutest slippers and robes for your little girl, kid's shampoo and conditioner, milk and cookies.
The complimentary breakfast and manager's reception was yummy and the kids had a great time at the pool every evening. Did I say that the service was amazing...it really was. So friendly and so accommodating.
Location was perfect, right off Michigan Ave with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

"Posh hotel"
I love staying at the Park Hyatts because I can always count on attentive, fast, friendly service. The location is excellent. Right on Michigan avenue, across from Water Tower. There are plenty of shops everywhere. Also a nice playground within walking distance. You can walk to the John Hancock building, a modern art museum, or visit the Northwestern University campus. Buses also run along Michigan Avenue to take you wherever you may want to go. If you have a daughter, there are hotel packages for the American Girl store.

"Swanky and family-friendly"
This hotel is at a prime location...right on the magnificent mile with all the flagship stores and Hancock building right by. They have huge suites or they even offer family discounts for multiple rooms if you want adjoining ones. The rooms are gorgeous and views are great, too. Kids get welcome packages with cameras and coloring books! So you get what you pay for.
Location.
This property is located close to the airport. Attractions in the
neighborhood include Chicago Water Tower, Hancock Tower, and
Tribune Tower. Other attractions include Millennium Park.

Dining options at Park Hyatt Chicago include a restaurant and a
bar/lounge. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Recreational
amenities include an indoor pool, a health club, a spa tub, and a
fitness facility. There is a full service health spa on site. This
5.0 star property has a 24 hour business center and offers meeting
rooms for small groups, secretarial services, and technology
support staff. Complimentary wireless and wired high speed Internet
access is available in public areas. This Chicago property has 5000
square feet of event space consisting of banquet facilities,
