"Rated Family-Friendly by Ciao Bambino"
A large resort hotel with the typically exceptional Four Seasons style and level of service. We've found the Aviara to be particularly child-friendly. When we arrived, the room was fully child-proofed, including bumpers on all furniture with sharp corners, and our son's name was spelled out in the bathtub with little sponge letters. The breakfast buffet includes a second buffet that is child height with child-friendly foods and a dedicated server. Finn (30 months at the time) thought this was very cool!

"Opulent and heavenly"
Located on a plateau overlooking the Batiquitos
Lagoon, a wildlife sanctuary, and the Pacific Ocean, this opulent 331-unit property opened in August 1997 and is rated five-diamond by AAA. The adjacent Aviara Golf Club, designed by Arnold Palmer, opened in 1991 and is ranked in the top ten nationally by golf magazines. Your family can take part in three- or four-day golf academies to see if you’ve got a Tiger Woods in the making!
Part of a 1,000-acre master planned community, the resort will remain more than 50 percent open space. In the Spanish colonial–style main hotel, standard guest rooms are large (average 540 square feet) and feature five-star amenities.
The best feature for families is undoubtedly the Four Seasons’ Kids for All Seasons program for ages five to twelve. Upon check-in, kids receive a personal invitation to visit the center and take part in kite flying, swimming and beach games, lagoon nature trail exploration, table games, and other supervised activities. The main pool area is very family-friendly with its adjacent kiddie pool now since the addition of a separate “quiet pool” and whirlpool.
Your kids will receive a welcome cookie and milk turn-down treat on their first night as well as children’s menus in all the restaurants. Cribs, strollers, high chairs, and playpens are all complimentary, along with a selection of toys to check out.
The California Bistro serves three meals daily and should be your choice for the family. Or just indulge in twenty-four-hour room service. You deserve it!
