"Park 79"
We stayed at this hotel while we were visiting New York with our13 month old daughter. Even though hotels in the city are small, this one was great for us because it was very close to Central Park. It was nice to take a walk to the park and see all the people and families walking around enjoying the day. There are plenty of places open late. Some delis were open 24hrs and the even deliver. We didn't rent a car because parking is very expensive. We paid over $50 to park for 2hrs or so in a garage in chinatown. All we did was walk around and had lunch in little italy. It's better to ride the subway or take a taxi.
