"Simply a beautiful hotel"

My husband and I stayed at this hotel overnight last December. It is a beautiful, new hotel, on the north end of Seattle. Some rooms have a view of the Space Needle, others have views of Lake Union.  

The room was simply gorgeous- large room with a big bed and settee. We did not bring our kids, but the room would have had plenty of space for a portable crib. The bathroom is huge with gorgeous marble counters, a beautiful tiled shower and the most amazing soaking tub. The hotel provides high end amenities, including bath gel, which I used.

The only kind of weird thing is that the bathroom is open to the bedroom with a large window opening, and can be shut off with sliding panels.  When the panels are shut, you can't see into the room, but it is definitely not soundproof at all. But when no one is in the bathroom and the panels are open, the room seems even bigger.

The room has a coffee pot and there is space in the mini bar for personal items. The fridge space would be great if  you need to stow some snacks or baby food. Downstairs from this hotel is a full-sized Whole Foods, with lots of food options. There's a Starbucks in the complex as well and a bunch of other fancy little shops.  This hotel is easily accessible from the interstate and is located close to the Seattle streetcar, so you can ride that downtown if you're heading that way.
