"Omni Amazing!"
My husband and I stayed in this hotel last May and absolutely loved it! It is in a great location, has a wonderful staff of people and beautiful rooms! I spent a lot of time by their beautiful outdoor pool and I think they did a wonderful job with the layout of everything. Like I said I think the best part is that it is in a great location. There are so many fun little cafes' and things to entertain to make it a perfect getaway for couples!

"Great service, great location "
We just booked Omni's "On the Road Again" package for a weekend in San Diego. Although the hotel seems like mainly a business hotel, the rooms were spacious and immaculately clean (I am a stickler)! The location was perfect, right in the Gaslamp Quarter in walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc.
As part of the package, which was a good deal at $219/night, they brought cookies and milk at night and then we went to check out they gave us healthy snacks and some little toys to occupy my son.
I would definitely visit the Omni again ... especially during the summer because the hotel has a bridge to Petco park, perfect to go see the Dodgers play the Padres.

"Lodging home run"
Opened in March 2004, this thirty-two story luxury hotel with 511 rooms and suites is connected via sky bridge to the new PETCO Ballpark, home of Major
League Baseball’s San Diego Padres. With an excellent location in the heart of the historic Gaslamp Quarter and across the street from the convention
center, the hotel is a superb headquarters for enjoying the city’s top sites and attractions, only minutes away.
The San Diego Trolley stops in front and the train
station is 6 blocks away, so staying car-free is an option, too. (Moreover, the hotel is only eight minutes / 4 miles from San Diego International Airport.) All
accommodations have a choice of views of San Diego Bay, PETCO Ballpark, or the city; are very attractively furnished with outstanding twenty-first-century amenities (and windows that open, unique for
a high-rise, so you can catch the fresh ocean breezes).
For dining, the hotel offers McCormick & Schmick’s Restaurant, which serves forty varieties of fresh
seafood, pastas, and salads in a casually elegant atmosphere; open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Morsel’s espresso bar and gift shop has an assortment of delicious desserts and treats. The Terrace Grill offers great barbecue and poolside beverage service with a view of the bay.
