Nick hotel is a very wonderful places I have seen.My daughter is dora lover, she was really surprised. The rooms were also comfortable. The kids rooms were fantastic. They were decorated with kids favorite characters. My daughter was very happy to meet dora, mickey, minnie and sponge bob.Its a very nice place to enjoy with kids. They really get surprised when they see all the characters they love in the cartoons. She keeps on asking us to take to nick hotel. We had photographs with all the characters. The staff were really very cooperative.Especially this was a very very special gift to my daughter.
We were not impressed with this hotel. The rooms are just ok. This is not the place for you if you want to relax . There are so many kids running around. The water park was not working properly. The show they have at the hotel is not that great. The rates are too high. I do not recommend this hotel.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I booked my family at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort. I've got to say though, I couldn't be happier that I did. I loved being in an atmosphere with all my kids' favorite characters and the ones that I've grown to like as well from watching the shows with them. I've never honestly seen my kids have a better time at a hotel in Florida and I would recommend this to anyone with children! You just can't possibly go wrong here! The kids loved getting slimed too!
Hotel has many activities that will keep the family busy for days. The water slides and pools are great, a little on the cold side but loads of fun for the kiddies. During peak times it is a bit overcrowded. No need to leave the hotel during this visit.
The Florida resident discount was great, the staff is friendly. The water slides are awesome. The food is a little pricey, but there are fridges in the rooms so you can buy your own food at a local grocery. The location was super close to everything. The hotel elevator did have some problems but they have stair so oh well a little inconvenience.
...but you will pay high dollar for the privelege. There are planned activities throughout the day, plus the activity pool is huge with lots of slides, etc. Did have some leaking issues with the AC in the suites(carpet was soaked), but may have been just a freak thing in our room. Food court offers lots of options. Room rates are pretty high, as are food prices on site.
This was the best hotel I have been to thus far. I didn't have to leave off this site for 3 days out of my 5 day stay I had to force my children to leave. All activities were geared for the correct age groups. Never s dull moment. My children were out of our romm from 8am to close for 11pm. the hotel was clean and staff was excellent. 5 stars for me and my family!
Book a vacation at Nick Hotel and you're done! We're talking one stop shopping here. The hotel has a food court with kid friendly choices, convenience shop, spa, mini golf course, basketball court, arcade, and tons of activities for the kids to do! Did I mention that there are two outdoor water parks? Also included is free transportation to Disney, Universal, Wet n Wild, and Sea World.
The hotel has great rooms, ours had a queen in one room, bunks and single fold out in second, and sofa sleeper in living room. Room also included fridge and microwave.
The main water park, The Lagoon, will please any kid. My kids loved the seven slides and fumes. Younger kids will enjoy the zero-depth entrance to the pool and play area. My older three thought getting “slimed” by the green colored water from the 400 gallon water dump tank was great, my youngest not so much-it‘s a lot of water coming down on your head! The pool has plenty of beach chairs and towels. I easily sunburn but I had no trouble finding shaded spots to lounge. The water slides and pool are well manned by lifeguards. The second swim area, The Oasis, has a shaded area for kids and a sand play area. Also available are life jackets for the little ones.
We greatly enjoyed our visit. We would start our day off on the earliest shuttle to Universal, getting there when the gates opened. Around 3, we’d head back to the hotel to cool off in the main pool and water slides. We’d enjoy the pool side shows and around dinner time, head off to the food court to eat at Pizza Hut Express, Subway, The Grill, and Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Company. Or we’d stay pool side and eat at the Lagoon Bar and Grill. Then we’d take in some evening activities or head back to the pool.
Although we didn’t have time to stop in the morning, at the Nicktoons Café you can enjoy a Character Breakfast - meet Dora, SpongeBob, Cosmo and Wanda or the Rugrats!
I highly recommend this hotel, you wouldn’t have to go anywhere else but here! Recommended ages 3-12.
