"Luxury at a great price."
I stayed at the Loews Coronado on my honeymoon a few years ago. I'd never been to a Loews Hotel before and was absolutely blown away with the hotel. We were treated like royalty - chocolate covered strawberries in the room, special soaps, the list goes on and on. The beach is a very short walk from the hotel and our room had an ocean view. Loved it!

"Secluded Getaway Kids Will Love"
The pool here is great, the rooms are small but nice, clean, updated.
They have cribs available that you can request and give you a little kid pack when you check in.
All in all, great family fun! There are also kid items to order for room service and at the pool.
A plus: it's located next to a marina with big boats and yachts to oogle over!

"Very Child Friendly"
Not the most update hotel in furnishings etc but it is a great hotel for kids. They have a fisher price toy closet for the kids to explore and they will baby proof your room upon request. They hotel restaurants are good and the coffee shop is very kid friendly. My husband and I went to the fine dining restaurant on the property and thought it was very good. We walked over to the beach one morning and found it pretty accessible. They have a kid pool also which was nice.

Located on a private, fifteen-acre peninsula
named Crown Island, surrounded by water and astonishing views of the
downtown San Diego skyline and marina.
Five guest-room towers feature 438 very
deluxe guest rooms with minibars and
fax machines. There are three outdoor
pools, whirlpools, and decks; five tennis
courts; an exercise club; and a private
eighty-slip marina with rentals galore—
sailboats, paddleboats, Wave Runners,
Jet Skis, and beach equipment.
Most important for your family is the
award-winning program called the Commodore
Kids Club, offering supervised
educational and entertaining options for
ages four to twelve provided by fully
licensed caregivers. Offered seven days
a week, activities change daily and
include nature walks, sand-castle building,
face painting, arts and crafts, and Grated
video screenings. Full-day,
half-day, and evening programs are available.
Families with more than one child
get to send the second child at half
price. Call for current rates.
Kids also enjoy the game room with
pinball, video, and Ping-Pong. This program
is a real winner. We think your family
will enjoy it enormously. Be sure to
call for special holiday programs and
value packages that combine SeaWorld
and other attractions’ tickets, too. A
very helpful staff is ready and waiting for
your family. Like the slogan says, “Loews
Loves Kids,” and it shows!

public areas. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Concierge
services and translation services are available. Additional
property amenities include a poolside bar, a bar/lounge, and a
coffee shop/café. A total renovation of this property was
completed in January 2009.

Guestrooms have balconies. Beds come with pillowtop mattresses and

have cable channels and pay movies. Air conditioned rooms also
include separate sitting areas, desks, irons/ironing boards, and
clock radios. A nightly turndown service is offered and guests may
request hypo allergenic bedding. Cribs (infant beds) are available
on request. Guestroom renovations were completed in January
2009.
