"Chocolate Strawberry Hotel"
This place is quite posh so i wasn't quite sure if it would be suitable for my 4.5 year old and 5 month old. They laid my worries to rest right at check-in when they offered my daughter a lollipop (after checking with me first and it was a small, cute little pop) and they offered us bottle water (which I LOVE). We treated ourselves to their Club Level Room as the Club Lounge serves food throughout the day. So we were able to eat breakfast leisurely in the lounge and they had a great selection of pastries, cereals, yogurts and some hot items. We were even able to bring a tray back to our room on the days we were being a bit lazy. In the evenings, they do a dessert display and they have the largest chocolate-covered strawberries. Since we were on vacation, my daughter got to have one each night. Hence, this hotel will be forever known as the Chocolate Strawberry Hotel and she is always asking to go back. The staff at the lounge and throughout the hotel was very nice and not snobby at all. They have a free shuttle service that takes you to downtown Pasadena as well which we did one day. It's a fantastic place to relax. A great hotel that both the parents and the kids can enjoy (they have a pool but we didn't get a chance to use it).

"Luxurious hotel for adults"
We had a great time both times we went, once before baby and exactly 9 months later! ;-)
Our baby enjoyed the walk around the grounds and seeing the bridge over the small lake and we enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood. It is more of a hotel for relaxation versus activities for kids....but, I would stay there again, for me!
