"Fabulous Hotel! Cute little town! Not much for kids! Still GREAT!"
This is absolutely a 5 star hotel. If you are going to be in the Lafayette, Walnut Creek area and want to stay in quality lux hotel this is the place. There is nothing for the kids to do except the pool, which is beautiful. This hotel is fancy. The Duck Club restaurant is not a restaurant that you would bring children. But there are plenty of REALLY GOOD kid friendly restaurants around town. This is much more intended for a girls spa getaway or a couples get away. But we still stay here for the beauty and the service. The rooms are beautiful, the service is top notch. The spa is one of the better experiences I have had. Lafayette is a very small town. This is "the hotel" in the town. The town it self is so family oriented. It is so cute and charming. There are a lot of outdoor things to do in town and close by. (Mount Diablo, Lafayette reservoir, parks, Berkley, San Francisco). This is luxury in a small town setting!
