Believe it or not, for those who really want to get away from it all, there are overnight accommodations up here in Waimea Canyon. The Kokee Lodge offers rustic cabins that were built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, or CCC. Nonguests are welcome to eat at the restaurant, which serves breakfast and lunch daily 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
