Nestled in the Cascade Mountain foothills of Central Washington, Iron Horse Inn was originally constructed in 1909 by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad and served until 1974 as temporary housing for men who had the job of getting trains over some of the most hazardous tracks in the country. Now featuring an extensive collection of historic photographs, artifacts, and railroad memorabilia, the lovingly renovated Inn has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Iron Horse Inn offers seven bright and airy rooms upstairs, each named after a railroad crewman who actually stayed here. Accommodations range from economical to exquisite, and each captures the essence of the bygone era of railroading. Antique furniture and railroad memorabilia are featured throughout. Three rooms share two spacious bathrooms (Main Hall). Four rooms have private bathrooms (1920 Addition), including the elegant Brady Suite with a jetted bathtub.

Also offered are four genuine caboose cars that have been renovated for your comfort, while preserving their charm and character.
