This hotel is in North Lake Tahoe. It's much more my speed than the more bustling South Lake Tahoe. Incline Village is one of our favorite places to visit. We decided to try a hotel this time instead of our usual home rental. I was really happy with this hotel. This hotel is so beautiful. The family aspect will keep us coming back here again and again. Things we where able to enjoy where the pool, beach, scenic walks, and the playground. They also have water sports like jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boats, and water skiing. They offer golf, tennis, and s'mores by the fire pit for teenagers and up.
They also have camp Hyatt, but my daughter is still to young. Here is some info pulled from there website:

We went in the summer and it was absolutely amazing. We plan on visiting Incline Village this winter and we are for sure staying here. Our host informed us about some winter time activities that we can't wait to do.
Family Fire Pits - Get a s’mores making kit from room service and roast the marshmallows while you and your family enjoy storytelling and star-gazing.
Snowshoe Hiking – Take a little hike – in the snow. Let our concierge point you in the direction of a great self-guided tour around Lake Tahoe.
Now to the husband. He is an avid gambler. This is one of his favorite places to gamble. Even when we stayed at the rental homes he would come here when we went down for the night and play. He said the hospitality is much more small town feel than the ones in south Lake Tahoe.
There is so much to do in Lake Tahoe, from lake activities, biking the trails, walking the trails, (summer) and of coarse skiing, snowboarding, and sledding in the winter.
My daughter had a great time at this resort. She loved the fact that we could be in the pool or at the sandy beach. She also loved she could borrow toys from the Hyatt "toy box" That was nice for me since I didn't have to lug a bunch of puzzles.
Stayed at the Hyatt for a night a few days before the New Year. It was PACKED to say the least. I think if we had stayed on more of an off time that the stay would have been MUCH better. This time the Hyatt said they had not seen a crowd for this many people in the last 5 years. So needless to say, wait times were long, front desk service was swamped and most things took awhile.
The lobby for this hotel is beautiful with a lovely fireplace to keep you warm. They have a few restaurants, an indoor/outdoor pool (heated year round), spas, spa services, a firepit, a small casino and from what a read also a kids club. I think if my son was older (he is not even 2) he would have had alot more fun. Overall, the place was good.
We got a king bed with a rollaway. The rollaway was awful. Also they have a full snack bar int he room and it is on a sensor, so if anything is touched it shows up on your bill. I had to ask 3 times for it to be removed ( I knew about the sensor), but took them awhile to do so because of the workload.
We didn't get to enjoy it, but I have read that they have their own private beach. Also, the valet parking is free.
The Hyatt Regency is a wonderful hotel option for families visiting Lake Tahoe. Kid-friendly amenities include a private beach with equipment rentals for water activities, a kids club, a heated pool and hot tubs, and an arcade in the hotel. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy a casino and great dining options, an incredible spa, and workout facilities. The property is close to nice parks for toddler play. In the winter, there are shuttles to local snow ski resorts which ski school starting at age 4.
