I recently had the opportunity to spend two nights at this beautiful resort, while on a trip to Palm Springs. From the moment we pulled up outside and were met by the smiling bellmen, I was a happy girl.
Check in was smooth and the front desk was very friendly. They checked me in and gave me a map to be sure I had no trouble getting to my room. I had been upgraded to a king room which also had a step down to a sizeable sitting area with a couch. I loved that the TV could be turned to face the bed or the living area. It's things like that that make a resort!
The bathroom was large, with a separate bathtub and shower. Everything was clean and nicely laid out. My room had a fridge in one of the cabinets, which was nice for keeping water cold (drink lots of water, you are in the desert!). There also was a coffeemaker in the room.
The resort has onsite restaurants, which I did not eat in, but I did visit the small cafe/gift shop in the lobby for a Starbucks coffee one morning.
The resort itself has numerous pools and offers resort amenities like free bike rental for kids. There is also a kids' club on site.
I was busy during my visit and mostly away from the hotel, so only got to really see my room and the lobby, but there were tons of families visiting. One morning when I quickly walked out to see the pools, I almost got run over on my way back in by families anxious to get out and enjoy the pools and sunshine! There's also a golf course on site. Next time I visit, I want to stay longer and just relax and enjoy all the resort has to offer!
*I was hosted on this stay as part of a press trip. All opinions are mine and mine alone.
found an awesome deal to stay at this marvelous hotel for spring break. the rooms were spacious, the pools were clean (a little crowded), a waterslide for the kids, golfing (if you're inclined), bikes available for exploring, great customer service...not too far from awesome shopping...definitely not walking distance - maybe a 10 minute drive...we never ate at the onsite restaurants for lunch or dinner but breakfast in bed was divine! we stayed 3 days - 2 nights...just enough time for the kids and us to have a little time away!
This hotel is so much fun for the family. There is great water park available for the kids with a slide and splash zone, they have a day care area that is insdie and full of great toys and activities! This allows the parents to enjoy any of the three amazing pools, the spa, or the great gym!
One of the best golf courses in Palm Dessert just happens to be here. I did not personally golf this one but I drove with my husband, it was so much fun! The course was gorgeous and the drive was great.
Word of caution this place can get hot! Make sure you have your sunscreen and a multitude of water to keep you and your family hydrated!
