A simple and easy get away. My wife and I had a chance to stay September 2011. This was the easiest camping trip we have ever been on. The feather beds were very comfortable and we stayed nice and warm. The separate, screened-in kitchen made preparing meals fast and easy. The breakfast served at the Homestead were great. Fresh eggs from the owner's chickens, home made apple cider and pork sausage from the owner's pigs. The owners have done a great job with attention to the details. We had a wonderful time.
What a fun place to visit. Our family wanted a quick and easy camping vacation during our trip to North Idaho. We stayed 3 night at Huckleberry Tent and Breakfast. Dad and I slept in a cozy queen size bed in the canvas wall tent. Our 2 children (10 & 12 y.o.) were in their own tent with cots and bedding provided. Our children loved feeding the chickens and harvesting salad goodies out of the garden. The owners were very kid friendly and had bikes, games and s'mores provided for us. This was one of our best and easiest family vacations and we plan on returning next summer.
