"Historic hotel near museums"
We stayed here for a wedding and the hotel is nice and has lots of interesting amenities, but because it isn't updated, you have to be ready for the small rooms and "old world inconveniences." Like the elevator still requires an operator, which is interesting but also a little time consuming. It's also a TINY elevator, so strollers can fit, but it's tight with luggage. There are several nice restaurants in the area, and we were only a few blocks away from the national mall and the museums.
