"What a wonderful beach getaway!"
Hotel Del is a historical hotel and you will enjoy browsing the hall of fame and finding out that Marilyn Monroe movie was filmed here, as well as having many presidential guests. Very expensive and teeming with mystery, this hotel attracts people from all over the world to the beautiful Coronado Island. The beachfront area and beach itself is very kid- friendly and beautiful. The sand is clean and in the winter the hotel provides an outdoor skating rink!! Skating at the beach... the children adore it (I do too:) Walk around the town with your family too, there are some awesome little eateries, and the whole island just feels safe, well kept and clean.

"Great Beach"
The beach here is so nice and so clean! This is a great place to take the kids, it is one of the few beaches that actually have a lot beach. A fun fact is this is the location of the movie - Some Like it Hot starring Jack Lemon and Marilyn Monroe!
They have a great Christmas event here. They have Ice Skating by the beach - I mean how many times in your life do you Ice Skate by the beach :) They have a very nice Tea here but I would recommend going into the city if you want a Great Tea!

My kids were so psyched to hang out a the gorgeous beach at the Hotel Del Coronado. This luxurious hotel has beautiful rooms and ocean views. The town is cute and the overall area is perfect for walking and bike riding. The hotel has daily kids activities, offers surging lessons, and rents a variety of bikes including cruisers, tandems, and surreys. The restaurant is excellent and welcomes families. In the winter, part of the beachfront becomes an ice skating rink.

"Fun & Luxury"
Hotel Del Coronado was absolute fun for my kids. We stayed at the Villas which has an awesome view of the ocean and private pools for guests staying at the Beach villas. The rooms are very luxurious with high end bed linens, toiletries, decor, and a huge tub (enough room for me and two kids)! Every morning, guests who are staying at the beach villas are offered continental breakfast overlooking the beach front. A must see!
