We've stayed in several Homewood Suites. There is still enough room in a one-bedroom suite for our family. Our kids are 8, 6, 4 and 1 and the youngest is still in a pack-n-play. The hotel provided a pack-n-play when we called ahead and asked for the crib. There was no rental fee for the portable crib, but they have a limited number. We enjoyed the pool after a long day in the car. There is an ice cream, fast food takeout place just across the road. Considering the eveing reception (weeknights except Friday) and the breakfast, it's really a good price, $125 Summer 2010. The food during the evening reception was tasty, and the breakfast was really a full breakfast with hot egg casserole, and sausage, cold cereal, pastries, muffins, bagels, bread, etc.
We booked a 2-bedroom + kitchen/living room suite here for $116 in 2007. A malfunction in one of the bathrooms forced us into a 1-bedroom suite instead, but it was still very spacious for our family of six. The breakfast and evening "reception" was plenty of food, and staff were friendly. We're finding that Homewood Suites are nice hotels at a good value for our larger-than-average family.
