"A beautiful getaway, not necessarily for young families"
My hubby took me here for my birthday weekend in October and we had 3 kids with us. Beautiful room with vaulted ceilings and lovely scenery. I went to the spa for a facial, mani and pedi. The pedi was great, but my facial skin got scalded of sorts during the facial--I never realized how sensitive it was---and they had already turned off the soak for the hands, so I missed out on the that. Plus the mani was done by a college girl that kind of looked like she'd rather be somewhere else. HUGE bill as well---not gonna do something like that there again ;) Overall very nice. There were swans swimming in the pond right outside on the patio that my daughter loved at Breakfast. Huge bummer was no swimming as it was October and the outdoor pool was closed. So....we snuck over to the Zermatt across the way and went swimming in their indoor one! ;) (don't tell!)

"Unique Resort Experience"
The Homestead is a unique resort experience and perfect for families. This resort is in Midway - a quaint swiss town nestled against the Wasatch mountains. My family loves to visit this resort in the summer for all of the outdoor activies. We could spend hours just playing all of the yard games provided for free at the outdoor center. You can also rent bikes and ride around the great bike trails in the area. Some of the rooms can be a little dark and are a bit old. That is why I deducted 1-star. However, we prefer to stay in the cottages which are larger and more quaint. They are a little more expensive but definately worth it. The Homestead is a great resort destination for families.
