We live locally and have been numerous times to the Holiday Inn Resort - it is very nice and clean and fun for kids, but very expensive and the beach that it sits on is one of the most crowded spots of all of Wrightsvsille Beach. It is a quick bike ride to the little restaurants down the street - it's fun to ride your bike in the morning to Roberts grocery for a Port City Java coffee and muffin for the kids and then let them go look around at Wings - a beach store with plenty of fun, cheap kid stuff. - it's around $300 or more a night during the summer months.
