"Holiday Inn- Crystal City"
We would definitely not recommend this hotel for families. Our room felt very old and dirty. We didn't feel comfortable walking around on the carpet or sitting on the bedspreads and chairs. We were worried about picking something up. We were even more concerned because our little girl was at the age were she was crawling around on the floor and it was disgusting. The thing that made us even more upset was that we were charged to use one of their cribs for our little girl! We have used many cribs at other hotels and have never been charged. I definitely would not recommend this hotel!

"Great service, but a small trek to the Metro"
If you are renting a car, this is a great hotel to stay at. The metro is about ten blocks away and is not a difficult walk, but with small children it might seem like forever! The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Reagan Metro stop every 30 minutes until midnight if you would like to take advantage of that. Once on the metro, you are only about 8 stops from the Smithsonian on the Blue line. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. There is a pub and a diner on site where you can enjoy a great meal. I recommend the cinnamon french toast for breakfast!

Situated near the airport, this Arlington hotel is also close to
Birchmere and Arlington National Cemetery, as well as Jefferson
Memorial. Other attractions include Lincoln Memorial.
