"Extremely pleasant"
This hotel looks new or recently refurbished. It's right off I-5 just a couple of miles north of Medford. We couldn't hear the highway at all from our room, although I'm going to guess there are some rooms where you can. The hotel allows pets in certain rooms--this might be a plus (if you have one), or a minus (there's a risk somebody's yipping poodle might be next door).
The pool is indoors, which is great in the summer (it was 100 degrees when we were there!)
Breakfast was included and they had a wide variety of tasty and healthy options.
It wasn't too expensive, and they have some rooms with jacuzzi tubs if you want to splurge.
