"Hilton Garden Inn"
We stayed here recently when there was an extended power outage. If I was visiting Corvallis I would be pleased to stay here and have recommended it to friends. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds very comfortable, the water pressure fine. The only downside was that the customer service was a little snippy.

"Bikes, Birds, Breakfast!! And...fruit!"
This is such a fun town to explore!
The Hilton Garden Inn was a great base camp for our extended two-week stay! We had a standard room, which after two weeks even with a small family gets to be cramped - if you are staying more than a night or two or have a large family, I'd get a suite.
One of the things our family loves is GREEN living! So, when I found out that they have bicycle rentals I was excited! They are for a fee, which I guess is still great, but it would be even cooler if it were free with a room rental! Either way, the town is wicked biker friendly, so you'll have your own bike lane almost everywhere!
The complimentary breakfast is AMAZING. It's been over a year since we've been there, and to date I have not had a better complimentary breakfast! It is complete with omelets made to order by an actual chef - not a microwave! Kids can decide what they want in the omelet - great for those picky eaters!
I liked the location (I was able to jog MANY places in quiet settings) AND walk/bike to the downtown shopping and coffee shops. Corvallis is biker/ped friendly, which is great for family trips. There was on-site laundry that was clean & cheap. The fitness room was also to our liking.
Another cool aspect? It's a short walk away (super little kid and stroller friendly, especially during the summer when the university is nearly vacant) to the grounds of the school, where you can do a little birding! We also took advantage of local fruit trees in perfect, peak production and snagged a few pears and apples for snacks! This was pretty much our families' perfect scenario for a getaway -- foraging and bike rides paired with birding and great breakfasts!
All in all, I'd stay here again--no doubt. I loved it and so did my family. Very friendly service at a nice, upscale hotel. It's also situated on the outskirts of town, so it's a quiet, park-like area adjacent to the university.
