"love Hampton Inn's"
Whenever we travel with kids, we try and stay at Hampton Inns and get a suite. The rooms are very spacious, there is usually a indoor pool, and complimentary breakfast in the morning. This hotel is very animal friendly! We traveled with our yellow labrador and the staff were so nice. There is a little area in the back for your dog to do his business and sidewalks out front for a nice walk. I liked the location of the hotel because there were several places near by that I loved being so close to for shopping: Barnes and Noble, Moes's, Walmart for any neccesities, Wegmans for groceries and it was a small drive into downtown Ithaca. Always try to stay there when in Ithaca.

"given the location"
We stayed here in Aug 2007. Given the plethora of not kid-friendly B&Bs in the area, this was a gem. Right on the main road so we could pick up any necessities. And they had a mini-fridge to keep milk nice and cold. The room was spacious and either the hotel was new or recently totally renovated. Very friendly stadd. Not deluxe, but worth the $ for the area.
