Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging

"One of my favorite family-oriented hotels!"

I was very happy with our stay at Green Harbor. It is very family friendly. It's kind of like being at a big bbq picnic with extended family! We got to socialize with the adults while my son played with the other kids in the pool. In fact, that was what we ended up doing most of the time. My son really wanted to get some seafood, so we took a 3 minute drive to a take-out restaurant and brought it back and ate  outside at a table while enjoying the view. You can rent paddle boats and go in the inlet, and you can fish off the dock. There is a giant deck that overlooks the inlet and ocean, and very relaxing.  The rooms are very clean, but a bit small. You do get a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, but its a bit tight with 3 people in a room. Maybe next time we'll go for one of the cottages they offer as well. We did have a ground floor room and you could hear the people above us running around all night. It didn't bother my husband or son, but I did have to get some earplugs. I have been recommending this place to everyone since I've been there. I truly fell in love with the place, and my son made a lot of new friends and had the best time.
